Gifts flow through board-approved budgets and field leadership priorities. Donors can designate gifts to a specific program (Education, Healthcare, Child Rescue, or Community Outreach) or direct them to Greatest Need — where our field teams decide where impact is most urgent.
Yes. Our donation flow includes a designation step where you can direct your gift to a specific program, an active campaign (like the Bukavu Clinic Generator), or a sponsored child. Restricted gifts are acknowledged, coded, and reported back to you.
Yes. Morning Star Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All monetary and in-kind donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Tax receipts are provided automatically after each gift.
We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfer (ACH/EFT), PayPal, Venmo, Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) grants, stock transfers, and cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, and more via Coinbase Commerce). Each method is available in our donation flow.
