In many remote and rural communities, clean water is the first and most urgent need. Families, and especially children, can spend hours each day carrying water that may still make them sick. Beyond water, communities often lack a safe, welcoming place to gather.
Clean-Water Projects
We prioritize clean-water projects in remote and rural communities, so a family's day no longer begins and ends at a distant, unsafe water source. In Kinshasa this includes a community water well, with more communities always in view.
Community Outreach Centers
Our outreach centers host fellowship and gatherings, special events and celebrations, community and faith gatherings, training, and outreach ministries. A center becomes a place a whole community can call its own.
Hope & Reconciliation
At the heart of outreach is the Gospel: a message of hope and reconciliation carried to heart-broken and weary communities. Through gatherings, prayer, and presence, our centers become places where despair gives way to hope and neighbors are drawn back together.
Whole communities: children and youth, parents and elders, neighbors and the local church. Outreach is where the other three programs meet the wider community and where new hope often begins.
In South Africa, Morning Star Ministries leads community outreach and centers, and in Kinshasa our sister organization runs outreach programs and centers.

Where clean water restores health and a center opens its doors, something deeper takes root. Families find a community, the weary find encouragement, and a message of hope and reconciliation is proclaimed and lived. Community outreach is where all of Morning Star’s work meets the whole person, and where broken places begin to heal.
